The Summerside Dolphins Swim Club sent some of their younger swimmers to the 12 & Under Spring Festival recently, and while the results in the pool were fantastic, some of the best moments happened between races.
The team cheered each other on, made new friends, supported their teammates, and gained valuable experience competing in a championship environment.
The hard work paid off with 43 personal best times and a new club record, but more importantly, the island swimmers showed great teamwork, sportsmanship, and a genuine love for the sport.
Congratulations to Aria Cutcliffe, Madi Champion, Leyla Coulson, Elliotte Lynch, Henry MacKinnon, Clara MacLeod, Calvin MacPhail, and Stella MacNeill on an outstanding weekend.
